Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Specimen I purchased these for my neuroscience class. I have students work in groups of 3-4 as they proceed through the dissection. I would highly recommend the dura mater intact version of the sheep brain because it promotes a proper understanding of the protective layers which surround the brain. Having the dura mater does require a little more work and time (adds approximately 15 minutes to the dissection time). Overall the dissection takes about an hour as the kids cut and identify structures throughout. They always love it!
