Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grows well, students can easily see the streaming. We share this product among 4 teachers by growing it on water agar. This year's sample is hardy and transferred well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best new pet! My P.p. came alive and well packaged in its plasmodial state with enough food to last it a week. I was able to move it to several other cultures, then back together, and no it just has it's own big box that it lives happily in. This is an easy living organism to keep, the directions it comes with are super clear and helpful, its super fun, and overall I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good demonstration Both plates I received were alive and provided a good demonstration of slime mold activity.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK, but developed mold The P. polycephalum plasmodium was vigorously growing on arrival, and I was able to propagate into several plates. However, a few loose oats were included in the plate, and mold developed from these oats within 2 days of arrival. I have spent almost 2 weeks isolating the non-moldy plates and finally have some sterile cultures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great slime mold I ordered a plat of physarium slime mold for my son’s science fair project. It arrived in the dead of winter in great shape, and my son was able to complete his project and do well. It came with very good instructions on care and growth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Slime Mold I ordered this for my science experiment after I was unable to grow the slime mold from the dried paper samples. This worked fantastically well. It is still alive after three weeks of just putting a piece of it into a new petri dish and feeding it. Overall a great plate, I understand shipping is expensive, but that would be my only complaint!
